Radiant Sol Holistic Therapy & Counseling, LLC

I am not currently accepting new clients. Please reach out to inquire about my waitlist.

Seeking support for healing is a difficult choice for anyone to make. You may have been contemplating this for a long time or had a recent self-realization. You may have received support in the past or be brand new to therapy. Regardless of how long you’ve been considering it or your past experiences, you’re here now! I honor and recognize everyone for their bravery in coming this far. My goal is to align with my clients in conceptualizing their goals for therapy and exploring what treatment pathways are best for them. I focus on building skills to navigate life and processing the past with my clients. I have been practicing mental health therapy since June 2020 and working or interning in the mental health and social work field for 4 years previously.

My Practice

My practice is grounded in trauma-informed care and a person-centered perspective. I work often with those struggling to resolve trauma, depression, and anxiety as well as those who wish to build coping skills for a better quality of life. While I do identify as using an eclectic approach to best support my clients, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing frequently. I also integrate Somatic Experiencing, mindfulness, and yoga into my practice depending on the client's path. I believe in using a holistic approach, meaning that we must put into consideration during care the whole person- mental, spiritual, social, and physical factors. Please feel free to contact me with any questions regarding modalities or populations I specialize in.

What to Expect

I offer anyone interested in working with me a free 15-30 minute consult to make sure I am a good fit for your preferences and needs. In our first session together, we will review my policies and expectations as well as discuss your own expectations for me. We will then begin to work towards building our therapeutic relationship as we complete an agreed-upon care plan. Once a care plan is established, that is when we start towards the deeper work. I work hard to meet my clients where they are as well as support their needs. I am always happy to explain my clinical perspective or provide psychoeducation. If you have any more questions about what to expect or how I can help you, please feel free to contact me.

Trauma Center's Trauma-Sensitive Yoga

My yoga practice started humbly in 2005 on my living room while in recovery from an emergency c-section. Since then, I have continued to practice yoga more or less frequently. In 2017 I completed my first training in trauma-informed, resilience-based yoga and realized I wanted to further explore how yoga can support emotional and mental health. I have since completed a variety of yoga-based training to integrate into my clinical practice, including level 1 in Yoga Calm and yoga-based DBT skills. In 2024 I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training as well as the Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga facilitator training (learn more here about TCTSY). The TCTSY facilitator training pushed me into a 500-hour yoga teacher title and I am now happy to provide TCTSY in individual and group sessions. I also offer private yoga lessons and instruct yoga classes in the community as a yoga teacher.

How do you collect payment/how do I pay my balance?

Within the intake paperwork, I provide a form to complete to fill out credit/debit card information as well as give authorization for me to charge your card. I do this at the beginning of the session. For clients with outstanding balances, you can pay via my business Venmo (@RadiantKrystina).

How long does each therapy session take? How frequently do we meet?

Each therapy session typically last between 45 and 60 minutes. 90 minute sessions may be needed depending on what we are covering (intakes, certain modalities, etc.). I prefer to initially meet with my clients weekly and we can discuss the appropriateness of biweekly meetings or twice per week meetings depending on the circumstances and my clinical judgement.

Where do you hold sessions?

My office is located on the north side of Spokane, WA for those who prefer in person services. I also offer telehealth services to residents of Washington via video call or telephone.

What do you mean by "holistic" therapy and counseling?

Giving holistic care is a part of my therapeutic perspective. I identify with the medical and philosophical definition in relation to my therapeutic practice. Here are the definitions from Oxford Languages:

Philosophy point of view:
characterized by comprehension of the parts of something as intimately interconnected and explicable only by reference to the whole.
Medical point of view:
characterized by the treatment of the whole person, taking into account mental and social factors, rather than just the symptoms of a disease.

For me, that means asking about sleep hygiene, eating habits, physical movement, social supports, and more that may impact symptoms that individuals experience which lead to seeking therapy or counseling.
